Josh Writes

Small boy with big dreams.

An unforgettable book.

Every book I read talks about various things but it focuses on only one topic. For example Harry Potter is fantasy, The diamond brothers is a detective story.

The book I read though covers many topics which is one of the reasons I truly like it.

The alchemist by Paul Coehlo. Let me write down what all is there. Spirituality, Fantasy and adventure. All three of them make an amazing book.

Spirituality:

The alchemist talks about Christianity and Islam. One character being a muslim wanted to go to mecca. The protagonist being christian. I also like the detail of the religions.

Fantasy:

The alchemist is said to be able to turn lead into gold, talk to the souls of the sun, wind etc and also be able to turn himself into the wind.

Adventure:

The protagonist is seeking a treasure and so crosses thousands of miles in a desert to reach it. This obviously is an adventure.
