Small boy with big dreams.

Even your mind needs teamwork. Heres how:

What is a system?

A system is when many parts work together towards a goal. Office, Family and Printers are all systems. They all have inputs, outputs and process. The parts work together towards a main goal.

Inputs

There are two types of inputs. First I will give an example before explaining all of it. So lets take for example, a car. It itself is a system and as a system it has its own inputs and outputs. Now for a car, an input would be the brakes, clutch, acceleration etc. But there’s always a primary input. The start button. Without it, whatever you do will not affect the car.

Two more

There is also feedback and buffer. Feedback is not output, it tells the current state of the process. If it is good or bad. For a car the feedback would be a speed-o-meter. Then there is the buffer, basically a storage. In our body, our stomach is the buffer. In a car, the buffer is the place where they store they gasoline.

The most important thing in systems.

Note that families, offices and schools all come in the family of systems. And the main important recipe in systems is.. Interdependence. If you have heard of the triangle of life, you would know that first as babies we are dependent, then we become independent through the teenage years. Over time we become Interdependent, working with each other and co-operating.

In a system, Interdependence is important and without it its not going to be a system.

What is system thinking?

System thinking is thinking everything as a system not as individual parts. For example. If someone wants to know how to get lots of money, youshould ask them why do they want so. Because they will have a goal in mind. And you’re answer will always differ through the goals.

So we know systems work together for a goal and we should apply this in our lives. Interdependence, System thinking and teamwork.
