Small boy with big dreams.

The mistake that taught me the most.

Right now I would be labeling my mistake as “stealing” but at that time I was none the wiser. At that time I didn’t know I was a robber, and just like any robber I was stealing from one of the main places all the robbers would go for. The jewelry store.

I know, I know quite surprising but as I said, I wasn’t even aware that I was doing it. We were on a field trip to the jewel factory to learn how they produce jewels. I saw how they seperate the jewels from the soil and how they mine it.

Now when did the mistake happen? It happened when they were showing how they polish the jewels. I thought these polished jewels were some sort of souvenirs and so I ”took” them. Thank goodness my dad told me that I shouldn’t take them otherwise I woudn’t have kept them back.

I am, though, happy that I now can differentiate between stealing and souvenirs.
